Special Committee on Women's Ministry

In 2009, The NSW Assembly set up a Special Committee for Women's Ministry. This committee has decided to conduct a survey so that an overview of women's ministry can be given to Assembly. Hopefully we can tell Assembly of the issues that need to be addressed for women and measures needed to keep these ministries vital and supported.

We are concentrating on ministries by women which are intentional and have the specific purpose of serving and/or equipping women of the Presbyterian Church of Australia in NSW to grow mature in Christ and/or to reach out to women in the community with the gospel.

In late January, 2010, a survey will be sent to various women's ministry leaders in congregations, ministry wives and many women employed by Churches and Church committees. If you are in one of these categories and you did not receive a copy please contact Ngaire Moore.

There is another survey for women to complete who do not fall into any of those categories. It will be available for download from the web or in the interim you can obtain a copy by contacting Ngaire Moore.
