We are writing to you to advise that the guidelines for food ministries issued by the Social Service Committee during the COVID-19 pandemic have been lifted.
Community kitchens, dinners, breakfasts and the like that provide cooked food to groups can reopen. Provision of pre-packaged, fresh food and frozen meals may be provided.
Please note, that all persons involved in a food ministry must not have:
- Travelled from anywhere overseas in the last 14 days,
- Had a fever in the last 14 days,
- Had acute respiratory symptoms (ie shortness of breath, cough or sore throat) in the last 14 days, or
- Had close contact with anyone who has been confirmed to have COVID-19 / Corona Virus in the last 14 days

Please ensure you use good hygiene practices, clean facilities as recommended in the last Update and have hand sanitiser available.
